Batman: Awakening

I first became captivated by comic books due to my interest in LEGO. As a child my brothers and I collected LEGO and, because my brothers each collected a unique theme, I felt compelled to decide on my own theme. My brothers suggested DC Superheroes, so that's what I decided to collect. Ever since then I've been trying to learn as much about the superheroes as I could, reading character encyclopaedias, trawling through blog posts and story summaries, collecting graphic novels and comics and watching as many movies and shows as possible. Like many comic book fans my favourite heroes are Batman and Spiderman and, after being bored for a few hours, I started drawing how I would imagine the two characters. I loved sketching my versions of characters and imagining how I would tell their iconic stories.
The opening scene of my imaginary Batman show is the short film 'Batman Awakening'.
Instead of reshowing his parents' murder chronologically, I tried to encapsulate the psychological effect if had on the young Bruce Wayne, showing how, in that moment, the Batman was awakened.
Without the budget or skills necessary to produce an entire 32 hour animated tv show, I opted to creating a story outline video, wherein I discuss my ideas for each story arch.
Of course, I couldn't simply write an outline without having a voice cast in mind.
