Letting Go

'Letting Go' was my first animation project, my first time putting to screen the ideas in my mind. It's a snapshot of what could be a long-form story, a whole tv show boiled down to its essential philosophical message: that you have to let people go.

Loss is, of course, one of the hardest things to deal with in life, and the character in this film deals with it by trying to hold on to those he's lost and those he still has. The character has to learn that he's actually suffocating himself and those he loves, he learns that he has to let them go, both living with the memory of those he's lost and trusting those he loves not to leave him.
